Beverley was a lovely young woman that I met in 2008. We have kept in touch this is part of an e-mail that Beverley sent to me:

...written by WILL H a mature gentleman who did not want to attend our programme. Copied exactly from his own words. He was quite a character.

"When I arrived at Job club I felt a right burk.
Just what could they reach me about finding work.
After a few days I’m learning to find out.
How useful this place is, what it’s all about.

The programs they give to us all, is the right size.
To each of us it really opens our eyes.
To all the opportunities that are around.
And to all the many jobs that can be found.

There’s twenty letters a day they want me to write.
Man that gives unto me a terrible fright.
How will I get on at Job club, O’ h well who knows.
Only seeking work will keep me on my toes."

FINDING IT

...with a learning disability he had a goal and wanted to work in a stately home, Royal Residence or even Buckingham Palace. It took us a year to contact all the Royal residences. Buckingham Palace offered him an interview and he was offered employment at The Palace as a Footman.

Last report he is still there!
